One of the telltale features of a Kigu is its signature shape. Loose fitting with a low-hanging crotch, Kigus are specially designed to fit everyone, comfortably. Our Regular Kigus are ‘One Size Fits All’ and a perfect fit on anyone over 5ft, regardless of your normal clothing size. While 95% of people will be more than comfy in our Regular Size, there are always going to be a few extra tall people whose legs are just a little bit too long for the Regular size and a few extra small people who don’t need so much bagginess around the crotch. As a result we’ve recently introduced a limited range of XL Kigus for those over 6ft and XS Kigus for people under 5ft 2”. Furthermore, we don’t want adults hogging all the fun of animal onesies. It’s unfair on kids. So we’ve made a selection of styles available in sizes suitable for children aged 2 to 9 years. These come in 2 sizes: 110cm for ages 2 to 5; and 130cm for ages 5 to 9.
One of the best things about Kigus is their high quality and durability which means that, unlike other fancy dress costumes and onesies, they won’t fall apart after a couple of days – they are built to last and to be worn again and again. They are made from a luxuriously soft polyester fleece that is extra cozy in the winter, but breathable enough for Kigus to be worn at parties or festivals. What’s more, all of our Kigus are machine washable. Just pop them in on a cool 30° wash on your machine’s most delicate setting and lay them flat to then air dry. Special attention needs to be paid to styles with big areas of black and white, like the Panda and Black Cat – we recommend dry cleaning these so as to avoid the black running into white areas.
If the tails feel a bit clumpy simply squeeze the tail between your hands to reveal the lumps : work the clumps between your fingers, massaging the outer fabric gently until the clump dissipates.
*UNDER THE CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES WE ARE UNABLE TO GUARANTEE THE DELIVERY TIMES WE OFFER DUE TO THE PRESSURE ON DELIVERY AND COURIER SERVICES - PLEASE BE UNDERSTANDING*
We offer four delivery options within the UK:
Yes, you can! We’ll happily refund or exchange any unworn Kigu returned to us within 14 days, so long as it comes with all its packaging in tact and its tags still attached. There’s a return address on the packing slip you receive with your order. Simply put a note in your parcel with your name and order number, so we know whom the parcel is from, and let us know what you’d like to swap for if making an exchange. Unless your item is faulty or you’re sent the wrong thing, you’ll be required to cover all inbound and outbound postage costs. For full details of our delivery and returns policy – click here.
1st Class, 2nd Class and Saturday UK deliveries are sent via Royal Mail’s signed for service. If you’re not in when your parcel arrives then it will be taken to your local collection office where it will be held for 1 week before being sent back to our warehouse. Next Day deliveries are sent via InterLink Express courier. If you leave a mobile number with your order, you’ll get a text on the morning of your delivery with an expected time of arrival. If it’s not suitable, you can text back to arrange for the parcel to be delivered another day.
While we do run occasional Kigu Pop Up Shops, generally we only sell online. All of our stock is held in the Kigu Warehouse in Kent and we do not hold any stock in our office in London. Collections from the Kigu Warehouse are available by appointment. If you’re interested in making a collection, get in touch!
If you would like to get the tracking number for your delivery, please send us an email with your order number and we’ll get in touch with the Kigu Warehouse who will be able to give you full tracking details.
We have a wide range of delivery methods available to suit all budgets and timing requirements. Within the UK, these start with FREE second class postage! Delivery to other countries within the European Union costs £12.50 per item. And delivery to other countries outside of the EU costs £12.50 per item.
This all depends on which postage option you go for. Next Day deliveries and Saturday deliveries are the only delivery options we offer that are guaranteed to arrive on a specific day. 2nd Class deliveries usually take 3 to 5 working days and 1st Class deliveries take 1 to 2 working days, but these are only guidelines and are not guaranteed.
Yes, it is! Next Day deliveries are available on orders placed before 12pm (that’s midday) on orders placed Monday to Friday. If the 12pm deadline has passed, get in touch and we’ll do our absolute best to squeeze your delivery onto that day’s post for you.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, except American Express, and you can also pay using PayPal.
Providing your order has not yet been dispatched, we’ll happily make any adjustments to it you require. Simply get in touch via phone or email.
In the extremely unlikely event that you should receive a faulty or incorrect item, we’ll do everything in our power to put it right! We can either send a courier to collect your item or, if you’d prefer, you can post it back to us. Put the postage receipt in with the parcel and we’ll refund you the charge. Once the item has come back to the Kigu Warehouse, we’ll send out a new item via next day delivery.
If you’re ordering over 5 Kigus in one transaction to the UK, we’ll gladly deliver them to you on a next day delivery service for free. If you’re ordering over 10 Kigus in one transaction, we can give you one for free! These discounts are not automatically applied though so get in touch and we can arrange this for you.

All of our Kigus are made from high quality fleece. They keep you warm in winter, but are breathable enough to wear outside comfortably at summer music festivals, as thousands do each year.
Unlike most of the cheap onesie rubbish you’ll find elsewhere, all of the Kigus in our range are machine washable, so you can enjoy wearing yours again and again. Make sure you wash cold on your machine’s most delicate setting and air dry flat.
We work exclusively with SAZAC, Japan’s oldest and most respected kigurumi onesie manufacturer and all of our products are sourced from them. The quality of our products is more important to us than anything, which is why we won't work with anyone else. There are a lot of fakes out there, so please be careful
We’re always keen to hear feedback on our current range or ideas for new weird and wonderful Kigus, or other products. So please do get in touch and tell us what’s on your mind!
